Every Saturday, hundreds of thousands of runners from all over the world, including Pensacola, take part in a free, fun event: parkrun. The run takes place at 7:30 a.m. at Rec Plex North on the University of West Florida campus. Children and dogs are welcome at this family-friendly event. All you need is a parkrun barcode to participate.
Enjoy a curated artisan experience at West Garden District Artisan Market, a local shopping experience with 20 amazing local artisans, including a ladies' clothing boutique, gift shop, and upscale resale. The event is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy free parking in the lot between the market and Unique Boutique.
Check out this awe-inspiring, multi-sensory candlelit concert featuring the music of Queen and ABBA at First United Methodist Church on June 13 from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Candlelight: Tribute to ABBA & More is 60 minutes, and doors open 45 minutes before the show. Hear top hits including:
Songs are performed by the Palafox Quartet under the gentle glow of candlelight. The event is for ages 8 and up, but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Bands on the Beach is a free outdoor concert series at Gulfside Pavilion, and parkrun is a free weekly 5K at Rec Plex North on the UWF campus. The West Garden District Artisan Market is also free to browse every Saturday.
